Sriracha Turkey Burgers
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Sliced tomato
- Sliced red onion
- Sliced avocado optional
- Sriracha mayo 1/4 cup mayo mixed with 1 tablespoon sriracha
Instructions:
Put breadcrumbs, red onion, cilantro, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl
Add the ground turkey and mix it all together
Mix everything together well
Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty
Warm up your grill or pan over medium-high heat and lightly oil it to keep food from sticking
The turkey burgers should be cooked on the grill for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until they are done and have nice grill marks
On the grill, toast the burger buns for one to two minutes, until they get a little brown
Put some sriracha mayo on the bottom half of each donut bun
Next, put a turkey burger on each bun
Then, add lettuce, tomato, red onion, and if using avocado slices
Put the other half of the bun on top and serve hot
