Sriracha Turkey Burgers



These Sriracha Turkey Burgers are a spicy twist on a classic favorite. The juicy turkey patties are flavored with sriracha sauce, red onion, cilantro, and a blend of spices. Topped with cool, crisp veggies and a creamy sriracha mayo, they're perfect for those who love a little heat in their burger.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Sliced tomato
  • Sliced red onion
  • Sliced avocado optional
  • Sriracha mayo 1/4 cup mayo mixed with 1 tablespoon sriracha

Instructions:

Put breadcrumbs, red onion, cilantro, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl

Add the ground turkey and mix it all together

Mix everything together well

Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty

Warm up your grill or pan over medium-high heat and lightly oil it to keep food from sticking

The turkey burgers should be cooked on the grill for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until they are done and have nice grill marks

On the grill, toast the burger buns for one to two minutes, until they get a little brown

Put some sriracha mayo on the bottom half of each donut bun

Next, put a turkey burger on each bun

Then, add lettuce, tomato, red onion, and if using avocado slices

Put the other half of the bun on top and serve hot
