Instant Pot Shredded Beef



Shredded beef that is tender and full of flavor that is easy to make in the Instant Pot. It goes well with rice, tacos, or sandwiches.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs beef chuck roast, cut into chunks
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced

Instructions:

In the Instant Pot, put the beef chunks, beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and tomato paste together

On top, put sliced onions and bell peppers

Place the lid on top of the Instant Pot and seal the valve

Cook for 45 minutes on high pressure

Let the pressure drop naturally for 15 minutes, and then release any pressure that is still there by hand

Shred the beef in the Instant Pot with two forks while the juices are still there

Enjoy the shredded beef on buns or over rice
